Description
Thresher Sauvignon Blanc
Thresher originated by Casa Julia from the central valley with Pablo Morande, the André Tchelistcheff of Chile, as winemaker. The Casa Julia portfolio are all value-driven offerings crafted by some of South America’s most progressive winemakers. Pre-phylloxera plantings, a warm climate, minimal dosages, long cold ferments and sustainable farming contribute to the predictable quality with each vintage.
In order to exhibit his value-driven wines crafted from responsibly cultivated grapes from select Chilean appellations, Pablo Morandé founded Casa Julia Estate. This Sauvignon Blanc was grown in Chile’s Central Valley, which has a climate not unlike that of Sonoma County. This has been fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel, and it has fresh, clean layers of citrus zest, peachy undertones, and a hint of green herbs. Ecologically sound cultivation methods used.
Thresher Sauvignon Blanc features a straw yellow color. Aromas of pear, green apple, and grapefruit. The palate offers layers of citrus zest, peachy undertones, and a hint of green herbs. The finish is fresh, crisp and clean. Pair with some of your favorite seafood dishes
