Saint Siffrein Cotes Du Rhone Bord Chemin
Domaine de Saint Siffrein was founded in 1880 by Abel Siffrein. Today Cyril Chastan, the fifth generation of the original Siffrein family, is in charge of the operations, doubling as owner and winemaker. The estate has been farmed organically for 35 years and in 2012 they received official certification. The health of the vineyard is paramount and great care is taken to maintain biodiversity and sustainable practices throughout the estate. Most of the traditional winemaking practices continue to this day with some implementation of modern technique
Vinification
The grapes are destemmed, slightly crushed and placed in an Inox fermentation vat. The wine is aged for 12 months in vat and bottle before release.
