This wine honors the Great White Egret birds often seen in our vineyards. These magnificent herons were hunted to near extinction in North America during the late 1800s and early 1900s for their pure white plumes. Populations have recovered since they have been protected by law. The great white egret is now the symbol of the National Audubon Society.
