Description
Westward American Single Malt Oregon Stout Cask Whiskey
A celebration of the American Pioneer spirit. Made from scratches from Pacific Northwest two-row barley, fermented with ale yeast for outstanding flavor, double pot distilled for exceptional character and matured in new American oak barrels. Non-chill filtered to preserve all the flavor that the barrel brings to the whiskey. The whiskey is then finished in American oak stout seasoned casks for approximately one year. Each cask that is used for the aging holds stout beer from a variety of breweries throughout Oregon. This special finishing imparts a roasted chocolate note that flawlessly accentuates the signature toasty notes of Westward American Single Malt.

If you thought Westward was great, just wait till you try this beauty! All the flavor you have know and loved about Westward is just amplified by the stout cask finish. The finish on this one is a personal favorite, lots of cacao and baking spice make this a fantastic sipper.
