Our namesake is the legendary poet and iconoclast François Villon (born in 1431), who penned some of France’s most enduring works before disappearing in the late 15th century. The poet’s enigmatic views and tumultuous lifestyle are still evocative and modern, centuries after his death, date and place unknown. Like our namesake, we are rebels.

Handcrafted in the heart of beautiful southwestern France, Villon represents a revolution in the realm of Cognac, one of France’s oldest and most renowned spirits. Made with a touch of Cognac, Villon is blended with exquisite spirits distilled from French wheat and rich natural flavors. The result is something altogether extraordinary.

A tarnished silver “snake and dagger” medallion is the centerpiece of the bottle.
