Description
Canadian Club Chronicles The Speakeasy 43 Year Old Canadian Whisky
During Prohibition, when the sale of alcohol was outlawed, many bars and taverns were forced “underground”. This led to patrons who were planning a night out to whisper or “speak easy” about these establishments. It was Canadian Club that became the whisky of choice in exclusive bars based on its reoutation for quality and authenticity. In fact, Canadian Club became the #1 smuggled whisky in the U.S. and the original “club” whisky in North America. With this 3rd release, we celebrate a true original, Canadian Club, celebrating memorable moments for over 160 years.
Canadian Club Chronicles The Speakeasy 43 Year Old Canadian Whisky features a golden honey color. Aromas of toasted oak with hints of brown sugar and rich leather. The palate opens up with nutmeg spice and light hay notes balanced with a subtle sweetness and a touch of dried fruit. The finish is long and warm, leaving flavors of sweet oak to be enjoyed again and again.
