Description
Josh Cellars Pinot Noir
Grape growers that I call friends helped handcraft the first vintage of Josh Cellars, a “winemaker’s wine” we made just for each other. This wine is expressive and bold but smooth and approachable, it’s a wine I make for your family, friends, and the man I called Dad.
Josh Cellars Reserve wines are made for life’s most cherished moments and are the culmination of our years of hard work and craft. Carefully sourced from vineyards known for their excellent yields across the North Coast and Paso Robles regions of California, these bottles are meant to be enjoyed with those who matter most.
Grapes for this Pinot Noir come from Santa Barbara County, where brilliant sunshine and coastal breezes create wines with complexity and balance. Santa Barbara wine country is situated between two mountain ranges with elevations extending from 200 feet in the valley to 3,400 feet in the hillside vineyards. The chill of the fog and breezes in the region help prolong the growing season, which allows grapes to fully ripen without excessive sugar levels and makes wines from this region elegant and unique.
This wine is bright and complex, first, showing of its beautiful ruby red color. Aromas of with fresh raspberry, juicy cherry and hints of spice welcome you. Flavors of red cherry, pomegranate, and cedar on the palate. These flavors linger for a long and silky finish. Pair this medium-bodied wine with dishes that highlight the wine’s earthiness, like roasted vegetables and mushrooms, or enjoy with poultry like roasted turkey or duck.
