This rye is over 8 years old and has a nice golden amber color. Sweet and robust baking spices, boasts of oak and caramel on the nose. The whiskey is full bodied and really coats your palate, opening up with oak, cinnamon spice, brown sugar richness and a bursting flavor of rye spice. The finish is long and lingering, getting more complex as it sits.
