Lajver Incognito White Blaufrankish

The thirty terraced plantations formed on four boards perfectly adapt to the bed of the Lajvér stream, which provides a special and natural microclimate for the estate. This not only means that there are several degree temperature differences between the lower and upper terraces throughout the year, but also that the water content of the soil is varied. The valley, as a natural wind tunnel, ventilates the foliage and clusters of the plantations, thus helping environmentally conscious viticulture. This variety allows all of our twelve grape varieties to feel at home.

Winemaking

Manual cluster selection. The coloured muss is immediately removed from the press, settled and cold-fermented in a stainless steel tank. After that, we arrive at an almost perfect white wine, whose slight pinkness is corrected with proper clarification, so the end result is a unique blue franc white wine.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of a light sweetness, complimented by notes of stones fruits and cherries. The palate is fresh, showcasing flavors of crunchy raspberries, peaches, white mulberries, a little creaminess. From fresh cherries to exotic fruits, there is a wide range of flavors and aromas. Clean, nice, flattering wine. It has energy, purity, kindness and finesse.
