Tequila Ocho Reposado

Made by heart and hand, Tequila Ocho is one of the few tequilas still made in the slow, artisanal way with the utmost care and passion. We only harvest overripe agaves from the golden triangle of Los Altos De Jalisco that are then slowly roasted in old brick ovens, fermented with natural airborne yeast and distilled at low temperatures. At Ocho, nothing is rushed , which ensures that maximum agave essence comes through in the initial distillation. The result is an additive free tequila that expresses unmasked agave flavor.

Tequila Ocho Reposado rested in oak whiskey barrels for 8 weeks and 8 days creating a slight translucent amber color. They use sweet agave notes that shine through while balancing sweet spice, cinnamon and delicate notes of vanilla. It has a rich and fruity aroma in combination with vanilla and hints of butterscotch. The end result is a long and creamy finish.
