The Fighting 69th Regiment Irish Whiskey
Founded in 1849 as a New York State Irish Militia, The 69th has fought as a U.S. army infantry regiment in major engagements from the civil war to modern day Iraq and Afghanistan. Its armory is located in NYC on Lexington Avenue between East 25th and 26th Streets.
The fighting 69th has long celebrated its Irish heritage, and in this tradition, we bring you their first Irish Whiskey. This fine whiskey is a tribute to the Irish-American spirit and a perfect tribute to America’s own Irish Brigade!
The whiskey is triple-distilled in handmade copper pot stills, uniquely designed for maximum vapor and copper interaction. Fighting 69th Irish whiskey is a unique and superb blend of three distinct distillates, which undergo separate finishing processes. The end results are then selected, in the right proportions, in order to create the optimal blend.
This unique mash bill combines the finest malted barley, fermented in with pure Irish water, resulting in a fine Irish Whiskey that evokes the motto of The Fighting 69th.
“Gentle when stroked, fierce when provoked.”
